Ensures that people from ethnic communities can fully participate in, and contribute to, New Zealand social, cultural and economic life. Provides information and advice to people from ethnic communities about Government policies and services. Helps communities to access information, services and resources. Obtains views from communities on issues of concern to them and communicates these to the Ethnic Affairs team and relevant Government agencies.
