Stitch on the Road

Connecting Communities Through Stitch – Update

The Stitch project is progressing well with a wonderful variety of people from across the Auckland region participating in the creation of a unique piece of art that celebrates our diversity.  Every Monday has seen a good turn out of people from many different cultural backgrounds coming together to enjoy stitching and meeting others in the community.

The popularity of the Stitch project has led to an exciting new development: The Stitch Road Show. Every Thursday, Joan and her North Shore volunteers will take the project on the road to reach communities across the Auckland region who have wanted to join in but are restricted by transport.

For details of times and venues click here.

For more information please contact Joan Hamilton, ph: 486 8952, or email: joan@raeburnhouse.org.nz.
